Principios de Lean IT
Lean es eficiencia:
Dota a las corporaciones de un modelo sistemático orientado a la eliminación del “desperdicio” para conformar una cultura organizativa adaptable a las variaciones en la demanda de los clientes, poniendo el foco en la actitud y comportamiento del personal, y el desarrollo y optimización de las capacidades (muchas veces a través de la formación para empresas) orientadas a la entrega de valor a los clientes.
Para ello, se fundamenta en varios principios clave:
- Calidad perfecta a la primera, con detección y solución de problemas en origen.
- Minimización del despilfarro, con la eliminación de toda actividad que no añada valor.
- Mejora continua.
- Procesos «pull» impulsados desde las necesidades del cliente final.
- Flexibilidad en la producción independientemente del volumen exigido.
- Construcción y mantenimiento de una relación a largo plazo con los proveedores tomando acuerdos.
Lean IT, Lean IT Foundations y Lean IT Kaizen
La aplicación de la metodología Lean al sector de las Tecnologías de la Información trajo consigo la aparición de las metodologías ágiles, las prácticas DevOps y el Agile Service Management. En Marzo de 2015 y a nivel mundial, se presentaba la Lean IT Association, una organización sin ánimo de lucro cuyo principal objetivo es proporcionar una visión homogénea sobre Lean IT, sus materiales de formación y su esquema de certificación.
El esquema de certificación Lean IT definido por el Lean IT Association (LITA) consiste en 4 niveles distintos de certificación, partiendo del nivel de fundamentos en Lean IT Foundation y pasando por un nivel intermedio Lean IT Kaizen, hasta llegar a un nivel profesional como Lean IT Leadership o Lean IT Coach. Cada nivel incorpora conocimientos, competencias y habilidades necesarios para la transformación Lean en una organización.
