En el ámbito empresarial, estos elementos simbólicos se manifiestan en todos los niveles y departamentos de la organización, desde las relaciones personales y sociales hasta las normas de procedimiento. generando efectos en el comportamiento de sus miembros:
- Compromiso: En la medida que haya una mayor correspondencia entre los valores de los trabajadores y la cultura organizacional, mayor será el compromiso del trabajador hacia la organización.
- Resistencia al cambio: Es la fuerza opositora que se genera al iniciar un proceso de cambio y está altamente influenciada por la percepción negativa de los miembros de la organización en relación a la forma en que ese cambio (por ejemplo, la transformación digital) les afectará.
Barreras a la transformación digital en el seno de las organizaciones
El estudio realizado por Capgemini confirma que la cultura corporativa, localizada entre la capa dirigente los demás empleados, es una de las principales barreras para la transformación digital.
La encuesta, realizada entre 1.700 personas de 340 organizaciones de ocho países distintos, pone de relieve que mientras que el 40% de los ejecutivos senior cree que sus compañías ya poseen una cultura digital, solo el 27% de los empleados tiene la misma percepción.
De igual manera, el 85% de los altos ejecutivos creen que sus empresas promueven nuevas ideas y las despliegan rápidamente, mientras que solo el 41% de los empleados está de acuerdo con esta premisa.
Lo más descorazonador, los números muestran que esta brecha se ha agravado en siete puntos porcentuales desde 2011, cuando Capgemini inició la investigación.
